BMW M3 has sold over 500 sedan locally over the past year, putting the model at the top of the sales charts for BMW M cars in Australia.
3.0-litre six packs 375kW/650Nm, and alspo forms the basis for the new BMW M4 GT3 endurance race car.
M xDrive all-wheel-drive system comes with the Active M Differential at the rear axle. It distributes power across all four wheels for agility and directional stability.
0 to 100 km/h is a brisk 3.6 seconds and and on to 200 km/h in 12.9 seconds. The optional M Driver’s Package increases lifts the top speed from 250km/h to 280km/h.
As well as the basic 4WD setting, the driver can also select 4WD Sport mode via the Setup menu. This provides an even more intense experience of the M xDrive system’s rear-biased tuning, while switching off DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) brings pure rear-wheel-drive into play.
