All New BMW M3 Touring Pricing and packaging.

BMW brings the first-ever BMW M3 Touring Australia, following its unveiling at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, in early 2023.

The Touring, AKA station wagon, estate car, and sometimes shooting brake, is the 4th body style in the BMW M3 and M4 line-up. It comes only in the Competition specification with intelligent and configurable M xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

BMW M3 Touring has a stonking 375kW M TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder in-line engine with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, Drivelogic, and M xDrive.

The cabin incorporates BMW iDrive including BMW Curved Display, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW M. 2022 brought us the track special M4 CSL and fully electric BMW iX M60, with the all-new BMW M2 having its covers lifted of in a few weeks.

Standalone vehicle concept with extravagant design

BMW’s first M3 Touring promises traditional M flare, speed, and handling, as well as the ability to cross continents in luxurious comfort..

A muscular exterior design package shines a vivid spotlight on its unique vehicle concept, ensuring clear differentiation within the line-up and a dynamic aura unmatched by any competitor.

The frameless BMW kidney grille, big side air intakes, and muscular wheel arches signal that which has attracted buyers for half a century, bare masculinity.

Standard BMW Laserlight has blue details inside array. Laserlight has a cornering light and adaptive cornering functions and will bend and shape itself to provide maximum vision in the darkest of night. It will never dazzle anyone approaching from the front, as it leaves a dmmed pool that follows the path of approaching cars.

Exterior highlights include black shadow line and carbon fire features.

The Engine

The 3.0-litre six M TwinPower Turbo was created for the Competition versions of the M3/M4, with 375kW/650Nm of meaty grunt.

All that power goes to all 4 wheels through the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, whose Drivelogic allows three gearshift programs.

As per all BMW M’s the 0-100 sprint is stunning, and in this case is 3.6 seconds, and on to 200km/h in a total of only 12.9 seconds.

The Chassis

Chassis tuning done at BMW Group’s Miramas test track in the south of France, the winter testing centre in Arjeplog, Sweden and the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany. Further driving on public alpine roads, freeways and in urban traffic, completed the rigorous programme.

Extra bracing includes:

-Additional stiffening struts on the underbody of the rear axle -Entirely new spring, damper and anti-roll bar setup for both front and rear axles -Touring-specific tuning for suspension, steering elements, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and the Anti-lock Braking system (ABS)

The Adaptive M suspension system with electronically controlled shock absorbers and M Servotronic steering with a variable ratio further hones the car’s overall dynamic competence while achieving a high level of comfort for multiple driving scenarios.

CarPlay and Android Auto further enhance convenience.
