Cadillac has debuted the SOLLEI concept vehicle, an emblem of luxury and innovation in the realm of electric convertibles. Designed as a bespoke expression of Cadillac’s heritage and future vision, SOLLEI blends advanced technology with artisanal craftsmanship to redefine the luxury driving experience.
At its core, SOLLEI embodies Cadillac’s commitment to personalized luxury. The concept features a striking 2+2 convertible design, highlighted by a monumental 55-inch screen that spans pillar to pillar, enhancing both interior functionality and visual appeal. This screen is complemented by a meticulously curated interior, complete with bespoke lighting choreography and intuitive command consoles at the front and rear.
Named for its inspiration from the sun (‘SOL’) and leisure (‘LEI’), SOLLEI reflects Cadillac’s aspiration for a lifestyle of open-air luxury and connection with nature. Erin Crossley, Cadillac’s design director, describes SOLLEI as a tribute to Cadillac’s legacy of elegant convertibles, reimagined through modern design expressions and enriched experiences.

In a pioneering move, SOLLEI integrates sustainable materials developed in collaboration with MycoWorks. Fine Mycelium™, derived from renewable mushroom roots, is utilized in the console’s charging mats and door map pockets, aligning with Cadillac’s commitment to sustainable automotive solutions.
Externally, SOLLEI commands attention with its sleek, elongated profile and distinctive “Manila Cream” exterior finish, a nod to Cadillac’s historic color palette. The design emphasizes clean lines and aerodynamic elegance, with discreet door handles contributing to its streamlined silhouette.
Inside, SOLLEI continues to captivate with an interior that embodies Cadillac’s “art of travel” ethos. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the cabin features hand-cut wood veneers and open-pore finishes that accentuate natural textures and colors. Every element, from illuminated décor to custom accessories for bird-watching enthusiasts, reflects Cadillac’s dedication to luxury and personalization.
Lighting plays a pivotal role in SOLLEI’s interior ambiance, offering 126 color options across multiple zones to tailor the mood and atmosphere. This customization extends to unique sun-themed accents and iridescent finishes, celebrating the vehicle’s celestial inspiration.
Unveiled at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, a prestigious venue within GM’s Global Technical Center campus, SOLLEI underscores Cadillac’s commitment to bespoke automotive design. It represents a contemporary interpretation of Cadillac’s iconic convertibles, designed to inspire and delight discerning clientele.
In essence, SOLLEI sets a new standard for luxury electric convertibles, merging cutting-edge technology with timeless craftsmanship to define the future of automotive elegance and sustainability.
