We want to dispel those, tired, old electric car myths. In fact, let’s call it out for what it is: outright lies and propaganda. This week we drove Audi’s new E Tron, It is a sophisticated, elegant, zero emissions solution to a question, that if goes unanswered, will end mankind. Before you carry on like a pork chop, the same tired old anti, EV moaners are the ones who deny climate change is a thing.

Can Audi E Tron EV Handle Mini Roadtrips

Audi E Tron May Be My New Favourite Car I took the boys for a mini-roadtrip Hunter for an E tron excursion. Audi makes a decent SUV, and E Tron looks positively svelte compared to the bloated BMW and bland Benz. Both have a decidedly generic designs that are about as exciting as a bat in the face. As [...]

I took my Audi E Tron for a run down to a friend’s cottage in Picton. On a home socket, you need a full 48 hours to get a lousy 250km.

How an Audi Track Day gets in to Your Soul

Undeterred, we head through the abandoned airport to the car park, and a line of stunning top-notch Audis. Coupes and fastbacks nestle beside SUVs, in a carefully curated vignette. I scored an RS Q8 for the 2-hour drive to Phillip Island, and our overnight digs. It would be churlish to miss a chance to comment on the perfect road manners of a car north of a hundred grand. RSQ8 is superb even in appalling weather. After a decent sleep in fairly basic units at Silverwater Resort, we head out early for a short drive to the Phillip Island GP track.

Audi R8 Performance QUATTRO Review

Like the rest of the stable, R8 is mild and unassuming. There is none of the palaver that goes with a Porker, or the frippery of a Ferrari, or the unnecessary excess of a laconic Lambo. No, the R8 sits deservedly at the top of Audi’s heap. It is sexy AF, but above all, it does what it says on the box, every time, without fail.

See Our 246kph Lap in and Audi R8

246kph in an Audi R8 with Melinda Price. The day starts under overcast Phillip Island skies. A fine mist was just enough to keep things slightly damp, and the air was full of anticipation. The circuit is 4.2km long, and rises and falls into gradual bends punctuated by sharp curves. To add to the experience, wild life wanders across the track.

2020 Audi SQ8 Full Review Everyone knows the way to really impress your date is with a $hit-hot car, like a blazing fast Audi SQ8. We took the big Audi up the old road over Brokeback Mountain. Sorry, typo. Of course, I meant Razorback Mountain. Like many capable creations before it, the big Audi ate the K’s like a kid in a candy shop.

Is Audi A4 allroad Better than an SUV?

By |2020-11-05T18:30:55+11:00November 5th, 2020|4 Cylinder, Audi Reviews, AWD, Car Reviews by Brand, Drive Wheels and Trans, Engine Type Search, SUV Medium, Turbo|0 Comments

Is Audi A4 allroad Better than an SUV? Yes, it is better in every way. Let me explain. Despite Australia’s ongoing obsession with all things SUV, car makers keep a fleet of plucky passenger carriages in their fleet. Once, men drove SUVs. They were big, and butch. They wanted to show their masculinity in ways other than hanging a massive pair of testicles on the rear-view. The Paris Hilton-sunlgass-wearing-soccer-mums came along, and things all went to shit.

2020 Audi Q3 35 TFSI Sportback Audi is a master of the dark arts. No matter which model, the drive reveals an alchemy that is more than the sum of the parts. Our Audi Q3 40 TFSI and RS Q3 filled us with joy. Follow the links for each story and video. Why then do we drive the Sportback? Because it is there. The muscular exterior is almost identical to her hatched sisters. Sportback is a hatch too, but the rear window is laid over to create a coupe-style SUV.
