2020 Land Rover Defender: Why Am I So Angry? I’m unusual, I did not like the last defender, not one jot. There, I’ve said it. Like the much-hyped Mercedes G Wagon, the old Defender was old fashioned and out of date, the result of years of chronically lazy development. The new car is magnificent by any measure, but why am I so angry? Well, you will just have to read on, or watch the video all the way through.
Is Jaguar E-Pace good looking? E-Pace looks a little bit like a schoolbook drawing. Huge wheels, and a low roof, are accentuated by a muscular body. If you squint really hard, you might think E-Pace looks like a curvy version of Range Rover’s Evoke. The handsome SUV is more of a lifestyle vehicle than a hairy-chested 4X4. You’re more likely to see it parked up on an immaculately paved driveway that up the side of a mountain.
OK, you’ve decided you want to join the SUV brigade. There are many different types of gay gals ‘n guys, so the car/SUV tastes are as varied as the sparkles on a Mardi Gras frock. Before you get on your high horse about the omission of the venerable Jeep Renegade, get over it. While it might be great off-road, it will only be great for a short while. Jeep has the reliability of a drunken queen at a dance party. Don’t do it if you want to go out, and return home in the one trip. To further water down your cocktail, Renegade has a disgraceful 1 Star safety rating. It might look the business, but just don’t do it.
