Stonic is KIA’s we-est soft-roader, and is perched on Rio’s platform. The diminutive hatch is snug for 4, but 4-up was tickety boo, for our sneaky 2-nighter down south. We headed down the road for a hilltop stay as Casper’s retraite à la campagne in the rural idyl of Picton.
I got the boys together for a gay family outing in the Jeep Compass, and here’s what happened. Ethen, Casper, and Max are gay, 20-something professionals, and they know how many beans make four. The eclectic bunch like a bit of a sports car or a hulking SUV. Ethan is a Range Rover aficionado, Casper likes classic Mercedes convertibles, and Max, who still lives at home, puts all his spare cash in to clothes and his 1965 Mustang.
KIA had the choice, take Seltos or Stonic first, and they chose the former. The model recently got a midlife update, and it is that model which brings the KIA SUV range to 4 models. KIA never seems to put a foot wrong, if we don’t include Pro Ceed GT. That was a great car ahead of its time, but I digress.

It resembles the latest Sorento in looks and features, and continues the model’s segment-crushing popularity. Carnival has been killing it for years, and is the go-to for peeps with more bums than the average family.
2020 Suzuki Ignis: a Great City Car A city car is one designed fit into teeny spaces, as Ignis is. So often, they’re utterly rubbish at everything else. Even the shortest journey is one of the most desperate misery. With pews as hard as stone, and the suspension of a BBQ, even the most stoic driver turn puce with rage.
Nissan Juke, once an ugly frog, has been kissed by the prince of pretty. Gone are the hideous bug-eyed DTRLs, a row of raised LED lights for daytime use. Instead, there is a more subtle slash across the top of the circular lights. The Circular headlights are also LED, with a central orb flanked by three arms of bright white. There is more than a hint of 60’s retro about the front end. The looks is a “signature”, rather than a complete pig’s breakfast.
The new MG is electric. It is stuffed full of batteries that can be recharged in a thrice. The source of the power can be bits of old dinosaur, but it can just as easily be powered by renewables. To avoid fossil fuels completely, there is solar, wind and wave.
2020 Audi Q3 35 TFSI Sportback Audi is a master of the dark arts. No matter which model, the drive reveals an alchemy that is more than the sum of the parts. Our Audi Q3 40 TFSI and RS Q3 filled us with joy. Follow the links for each story and video. Why then do we drive the Sportback? Because it is there. The muscular exterior is almost identical to her hatched sisters. Sportback is a hatch too, but the rear window is laid over to create a coupe-style SUV.
All New Peugeot 2008: Class Leading in Every Way Some people, uninformed people, snub Peugeot. They say the unreliable French cars are underpowered and overpriced. Oh dear. Let’s have a butchers at those at those flimsy, baseless, mealy-mouthed mutterings. First, haters always gonna hate. They’d find fault with a cure for cancer, so negating those Neanderthal ninnies takes a mere jiff. Peugeot has a 5 year warranty, and consistent 5 star ANCAP ratings. They’re early adopters of the latest trendy tech too. The exteriors ooze class, and the interiors are utterly delicious.
