The Range Rover Sport SV has released details of the exclusive Range Rover Sport SV EDITION TWO.
Range Rover Sport oozes all-terrain class from every pore, with the SV EDITION TWO taking that several steps further with the option of 23” carbon fibre wheels. The special editions come in the as packs coded to 4 colours: Blue Nebula Matte, Ligurian Black Gloss, Marl Grey Gloss and Sunrise Copper Satin.
Each “curation” has its own personality combining colour, carbon fibre, and interior finishes that bring verisimilitude to a cosy mountain-top experience. Make no mistake, as pretty as the Range Rover Sport SV is, it is every bit as capable as any other Range Rover. While creating a track-capable SUV seems counterintuitive, Range Rover SV is a very sexy wolf in sheep’s clothing.
The cabin is replete with a delicious choice of innovative knit textiles or Windsor leather, as well as SV EDITION TWO branding on the front splitter, centre console, treadplates and puddle lamps.
Extreme performance comes in the form of hydraulic interlinked 6D Dynamics suspension with pitch and roll control that keeps the big Rangie almost level even under the most demanding cornering or braking. Buyers can option powerful lightweight Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes with eight-piston SV front callipers for even more control.
The 23-inch Carbon Fibre Wheel option adds to 76kg total weight saving, keeping un-sprung mass as low as possible. For all-terrain use, the standard-fit Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tyres look good while giving passengers the best of all worlds.
The star of the show in this, the most powerful Range Rover ever, is its 467kW/750Nm mild-hybrid Twin Turbo V8 engine. Along with a visceral chorus, it rockets to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
Geraldine Ingham, Managing Director, Range Rover, said: “What makes Range Rover Sport SV so desirable is its unique combination of dynamic performance, modern sporting luxury design, its cutting-edge sensory technology and breadth of capability. For the first year, this was initially only open to clients by reservation. Today we announce the next step in our SV line-up, Range Rover Sport SV EDITION TWO, available with new design themes which offer our discerning clients the chance to enjoy four distinct characters of our high-performance luxury SUV.”
