There will be an exhibition of Bond Cars from the past at Petersen Automotive Museum this September.
It will coincide with the 60th anniversary of the James Bond 007 films featuring cars used, especially the much-loved car chases. It starts from September 25, 2021, in the Mullin Grand Salon gallery, Bond in Motion will be the largest official Bond vehicle display that has been seen in the USA.
There will be over 30 cars, motorcycles, boats, submarines, and helicopters, alongside scale filming models of aircraft from most of the Bond films.
Highlighted cars feture: 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), 1985 Aston Martin V8 from The Living Daylights (1987), 1999 BMW Z8 from The World Is Not Enough (1999), and the 2019 Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre (2015).

“James Bond is an international pop culture icon and the vehicles he drives are an integral part of his character,” said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. “The Petersen is excited to showcase so many of the series’ most well-known vehicles. We are sure that there will be something to satisfy every generation of Bond fan.”
Bond in Motion is a joint venture between EON Productions and The Ian Fleming® Foundation, with support from Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM). The exhibition is not merely a static show, but one that demonstrates just how the vehicles were used in the Bond movies, and how they contributed to each movie’s popularity and legacy. 8 vehicles were brought from the UK free of charge by DHL DHL is an official partner of ,No Time To Die (2021), and has been involved in the last 5 bond movies.
Petersen will host an gala on the evening of September 23 with live entertainment, and gourmet appetizers and cocktails, prior to the official opening of the exhibit.
The Bond exhibit replaces Hollywood Dream Machines exhibit in the Mullin Grand Salon gallery on the first floor of the museum and will run through October 30, 2022. It will also provide a space for screenings, panel discussions and lectures related to the Bond franchise.

The 25th film in the James Bond Franchise, No Time To Die, will be released in cinemas from September 30 2021 in the UK through Universal Pictures International and in the US on October 8 2021, from Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) via their United Artists Releasing banner.
