Kia’s Seltos has been given a little nip and tuck, with minor changes to the look, as well as updates in the safety and convenience technology

Seltos was launched in 2019, and has sold 744 units so far this year.  This places it 4th in the KIA sales charts behind Sportage (1837), Cerato (946) and Carnival (920).

“The response to Seltos has been extraordinary over the last 3 years and we are very pleased to be introducing its improved successor”, said Kia’s Chief Operating Officer, Damien Meredith.

“It’s rare to find a car that appeals as much to families as it does to singles and couples. With the inclusion of extra safety and convenience technology across the board, we’re positive new Seltos will continue to win buyers over with its unmatched combination of style and practicality”.

Seltos comes as either an S, Sport, Sport+ and GT-Line with 2 drivelines. All trim levels have a carry-over Atkinson cycle 2.0 MPI FWD engine with CVT automatic.

AWD models Sport+ and GT-Line have had their Smartstream 1.6 T-GDI updated, and now comes with KIA’s 8-speed conventional automatic transmission.

Exterior changes include: new head light graphic, larger grille, a new front bumper, and skid plate garnish. Seltos GT-Line’s lighting array now features a new ‘Star-map’ signature design.

The rear gets minor changes to the rear bumper and rear lamps. Alloy wheels are standard on all models, with those on Sport, Sport+ and GT-Line being machine-finished.
