More detail has emerged about the Kia EV9 dimensions which, as a purpose-built EV, enjoys the advantages of a flat floor, and a 3100mm wheelbase.

As previous images show, the exterior shows a masculine line with a cubist look and dazzling light display.

Kia claims the cabin is lounge-like, with controls moved to the dash and steering wheel to leave the console free for storage solutions. The 3-row EV is said to have legroom for tall adults, with the 2nd row being able to turn rearwards.

Emphasis is placed on comfort, with seats of “lounge quality.” There are cup holders and USB outlets for all 3 rows, and the glass roof allows light in, making the cabin feel even more spacious.

Hyundai, Kia and Genesis, made enormous leaps in EV technology by investing in development ahead of the curve. The ability to connect to on-line updates, is seen as a way for vehicles to gain access future solutions.

It may well be that capability upgrades could extend the length of ownership.
