PEUGEOT is about to launch their 308 range. Later this year, the small family hatch sees a new model arrive, along with new technology and drive train options, including an electrified model. Register your interest HERE
For a small hatch, the 308 is a little on the expensive side, at $43,990 for the “base” model. Considering the Mazda 3 starts at $30,964 Drive Away, the Peugeot is going to need to be a cracker.
4 models include: 308 GT Hatch, 308 GT Premium Hatch, 308 GT Premium Wagon and the 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid. 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid comes early in 2023.
It is the 1st PEUGEOT to wear the new badge, and comes with the latest PEUGEOT i-Cockpit, something most of us take a while to get used to.
PEUGEOT Australia Managing Director, Kate Gillis, commented: “It is with great excitement that we can today open pre-orders for the 308. Our latest arrival brings a dynamic and stylish design, with the local model range carefully selected to provide consumers with a strong line-up.”
“We are confident that the new PEUGEOT 308 has a distinct offering for the local market that will appeal across multiple premium segments due to the different body styles on offer as well as the compelling choice of powertrains, both internal combustion and electrified.”
“Looking forward to 2023, we are particularly excited that the PEUGEOT 308 GT Sport Hatch Plug-In Hybrid will allow us to continue our electrification journey and enter into the electrified small car segment for the first time in Australia.”
