smart #5 is coming here, and the two cars already on sale got a .

smart #5 is the mid-size SUV of the family, and it’s coming here with no price, no battery size, no range claim, and no on-sale date. Prices and further specification details to follow. Europe got there first. smart #5 already holds the Euro NCAP Best-in-Class Large SUV award for 2025, plus a pair of Red Dot Design Awards, one for the styling and one for the user interface.

New prices for smart #1, the compact urban SUV, now start at $49,900 plus on-roads. smart #3, the SUV coupe, starts at $52,900.

smart #1 and smart #3 both use smart Pilot Assist and several driving modes. Both hold 5-star ANCAP/Euro NCAP and C-NCAP ratings. Styling is by the global design team at Mercedes-Benz, a 50% partner.

Half Geely, Half Mercedes-Benz

smart has been a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz AG and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group since 2019, though the badge goes back to the quirky little two-seater of the 1990s. It sells in more than 40 countries now. An all-new smart #2 follows during 2026, teased on a Melbourne wall and at a Beijing concept. Full launch details for smart #5 are to be revealed soon.
