12: New 2020 LandRover Defender
There are a few surprise choices in the list, but that’s what you voted for! We’ve compiled video reviews below:
1: From their lofty perch, Rolls Royce could see a world outside the bounds of city streets, luxury hotels, and posh resorts. A Rolls Royce Spokesman said “our customers want to take the luxury of their every day car, off-road. And, even if they never actually take it off-road, they known they can.” See the written review BELOW
2: G80 is more sophisticated than her predecessors, in so many ways. The modern design has sandpapered over the rough edges of older models, and the cabin is crisp, clean and very cosy. To make the drive all it could be, Genesis added AWD, an 8-speed automatic, and a thrilling 3.5L V6 engine, to a tight chassis. There is a 2.5 4 cylinder too. See the G80 park COMPLETELY WITHOUT A DRIVER!!!!
3: We drive the 2020 Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary AWD supercar. 2020 Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Maybe it is the bogan in me that loves a Nissan GT-R, but every time I get in to one, I don’t want to get out. Generations of fellow bogans have made their marks on the world by doing the same. 50 Years of Nissan have worn the badge, starting with the Cedric-looking coupe, to the 240K model, then the Skylines which gained near god-like status. GT-R has always been a serious business.
4: 2020 BMW M4 Competition Convertible BMWs are deeply impressive cars at the best of times, but the M cars take a humbler offering, and turns it into grunty perfection. M3 goes back many decades. BMW spent millions on it,
5: Audi A5 quattro 45 TFSi Sportback:- A5 is one of the more successful executive hatches. It is slightly larger than the 1st generation, replaced by this one in 2017. A5 Sportback is 4733 mm long, with a 2824 mm wheelbase. It is 1843 mm wide and 1386 mm high.
6: Evoque’s body is all-new, with only the door hinges being carried over from the old model. The gorgeous body?: Evoque been smooth off slightly, with sexier LED headlights, and slimmer, larger, 3D tail lights. Standard 18” wheels have been optioned up to 20” too. They look huge set against such a low-slung body.
7: LEXUS is one of those brands that may seem ubiquitous, but actually sells in fairly small numbers, with their best-selling offering being NX. NX is a medium sized SUV with bells and whistles galore. It comes in front, or All-Wheel-Drive, with either a 2.0L Petrol engine, or 2.5L hybrid. The Hybrid has a decent CVT automatic, and the 2.0L Turbo has a smooth 6-speed automatic.
8: Alfa Romeo conjures fond childhood memories, and the Giulia continues the fine Italian tradition of comfortable, cross country motoring, with style, grace, and great flair.
9: RS Q8 QUATTRO $208,500 5.0L V8 twin turbo 441kW/800Nm 0-100 8 8-sp S-Tronic I’m going to be controversial by saying this is my new favourite audi. It is a nuclear Adonis. This magnificent creature is all things to all people. In sport mode at 260kph, the exhaust can only be described as filthy. It is both raspy and deep, augmented by a treble worthy of Pavarotti. Even in the tightest corner, the body moves like a baby in a cradle. SUVs usually feel like they’re going to fall over, but there is no hint of such a misdemeanour. The executive cabin, and its haptic controls, have the feel of a private jet, especially on the straight.
10: 246kph in an Audi R8 with Melinda Price. he day starts under overcast Phillip Island skies. A fine mist was just enough to keep things slightly damp, and the air was full of anticipation. The circuit is 4.2km long, and rises and falls into gradual bends punctuated by sharp curves. To add to the experience, wild life wanders across the track. R8 engineering deep within the snarling V10, hides 449kw/560Nm of instant power. The 1595kg coupe gets to 100 in 3.2 seconds.
11: GV80 is a lot of metal to be throwing around, but we will stop at nothing to bring the real story. In Sport Mode, GV80 does its best to be a tidy ports car, but there is no hiding the bulk. You change directions quickly and easily, but tighter turns are accompanied by pernicious scrubbing of tyres calling for mercy.
12: 2020 Land Rover Defender: Why Am I So Angry? I’m unusual, I did not like the last defender, not one jot. There, I’ve said it. Like the much-hyped Mercedes G Wagon, the old Defender was old fashioned and out of date, the result of years of chronically lazy development. The new car is magnificent by any measure, but why am I so angry? Well, you will just have to read on, or watch the video all the way through.
