Bentley and Lamborghini Win Robb Report Luxury Awards

Bentley and Lamborghini Win significant Luxury Awards

Bentley Flying Spur

The Robbs Report, a posh American lifestyle mag, has labelled several cars in the best of the best awards. Bentley Flying Spur and Lamborghini Huracan came in for special gongs.

The Bentley  cabin was so gorgeous, it was “ difficult to believe you’re inside a car and not, say, a tony members’ club.”

The award comments on the stunning wood veneers, connected services, and supreme comfort, and the superb “Naim for Bentley” audio system. The writer was particularly enthralled with the 3-D leather centre console.

They liked the inbuilt SIM for embedded services and the 2-bottle drinks cooler.

The award, given alongside those for other luxury products, gave the open-top tourer nods for being “best of the best”.

We thank Robb Report for awarding the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, not only with one, but with two special accolades this year,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “Since its initial debut in 2014, the Huracán lineup has been widely celebrated by the media, fans and customers, so it’s no surprise the rear-wheel drive, open-top model is receiving a lot of attention.”

Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is the latest Huracán offering. The 5.2L V10 is naturally aspirated power plant that propels the Spyder to 100kph in 3.5 seconds. Huracán is rear-wheel-drive, which is unique in the Lamborghini stable.

The 610hp engine uses a new traction control programme that removes torque vectoring to allow a spot of drifting. The top speed is a rather staggering 201mph.
