Introducing Sexy Charlie Testing the Kia EV6 GT

I’m Charlie, new at Gay Car Boys, and my first assignment is a cool new Kia EV6 GT, woohoo!!

Kia EV6 is a pretty decent car anyway, but when they brought out the GT version, I had vision of the Divine. There were angels, and cherubs, and joy experienced when smoking a smart-arse in a crappy Holden V8 at the light.s I thought the Botticelli-esque body looked sexy AF, but that whacking great 430kw/740Nm output is utterly  mountainous, matched by the Lilliputian 0-100 time of 3.5 seconds. That’s only a bee’s dick off making the driver a schmear on the back window.

Accessories are important, and by that I don’t mean your shoes matching your handbag. It hasn’t got wireless Apple CarPlay. I mean, WTF!

I’ve always thought of myself a being gay first, and everything else second. It means I can please myself when i buy something pretty, including a car. I’m not a gym bunny, and clubs make me gag, but give me a run out into a rural idyll, and I am happy, really happy. Maybe that’s what the EV6 GT’s makers intended. It’s not always the most hospitable place for a gay man, especially one who is 6’4″ and sticks out like dog’s balls, but maybe i’m hoping, secretly, for a chase scene from Bullitt. The EV6 GT would make most of them look a bit shit.

The matte finish gives the EV6 GT the evil shimmer  of a Bird of Prey cloaking. All Matte EV6’s have a ceramic coating, mentioned for no particular reason.

My full review will follow, but my first drive made me want to head for a track fort a bit of light mindless-thrashing. I’m told that will make batteries warm up a bit, but who cares, it will give the feck-ugly Porsche a kick in the arse every time, and that’s all that counts.

The pin-point balance between scalpel and Scud missile is a dark art. Getting wrong can break bones on the first pothole. The ride looks like it should be luxurious, but it is more like a being kicked in the crotch at a leather bar. It is brutal and thuggish.

If you have any romantic notions of taking your better half on a leisurely trip through the green, uplit countryside, think again. That’s why I decided to take Max, who apart from being unspeakably hot, is a fabulous driver who loves being thrown about like a rag doll. I’m hoping it puts him in the mood for a bit of apré, if you get what I mean.

My full review comes next week, along with Alan’s video.
