Jaguar Type 00 Makes a Dazzling Monaco Debut on Floating Ocean Terrace

Set against the shimmering Mediterranean and timed perfectly with Formula E’s most glamorous weekend, Jaguar’s bold new vision—Type 00—has made a jaw-dropping entrance into Monaco. Hovering above the sea on a custom-built floating ocean terrace, this avant-garde concept car turned heads faster than a screaming Formula E racer down the harbour straight. It’s giving Bond villain lair meets Milan runway, and frankly, we’re obsessed.

Bathed in bespoke French Ultramarine, a rich pigment developed exclusively by Jaguar’s creative team, Type 00 gleams with a satin-metallic finish that accentuates its fearless form. From every angle, the design oozes drama and presence, a rolling sculpture that recaptures Jaguar’s “Copy Nothing” ethos—first laid down by founder Sir William Lyons and now reborn for the electric age.

This striking debut follows a viral moment at Paris Fashion Week, where Type 00 shared the spotlight with some serious A-list wattage. Barry Keoghan, Jamie Dornan, and Zoë Saldaña were all spotted climbing out of the car’s sculpted cabin at the city’s most glamorous soirées, proving that this is no ordinary concept—it’s a scene-stealer in every sense.

Jaguar’s Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, summed it up best: “Monaco is the ideal backdrop to showcase Jaguar’s vision for the future of automotive luxury.” And with its blend of art, design, and forward-thinking electric innovation, Type 00 isn’t just a car—it’s a manifesto on wheels.

As Monte Carlo fills with fans for Formula E’s crown jewel, Type 00 makes its presence known—not on the track, but above the sea, where it belongs: floating, flawless, and fabulously defiant.
