Hyundai has long been a driving force behind motorsport development in Korea. For more than 20 years, the brand has spearheaded initiatives like the Hyundai Click Speed Festival (2003-2010), Korea Speed Festival (2011-2018), and Hyundai N Festival (2019-2023), cultivating a rich motorsport culture that continues to thrive. Now, with Toyota joining the party, this collaboration aims to elevate that culture to new heights.

The festival’s highlight? A rally-style demo drive featuring Hyundai’s WRC stars Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo, and Andreas Mikkelsen, alongside Toyota’s WRC ace Takamoto Katsuta and team principal Jari-Matti Latvala. These rally legends will push Hyundai’s i20 N Rally 1 Hybrid and Toyota’s GR YARIS Rally 1 Hybrid to the limit, thrilling the crowd with their expert handling and blistering speed.

And it’s not just about spectating—fans will have the opportunity to ride shotgun in these beasts. Hyundai’s IONIQ 5 N and Toyota’s GR86 will be on hand for test rides, giving festivalgoers a taste of what high-performance feels like from the inside. Plus, Hyundai’s TCR drivers Norbert Mischelisz and Mikel Azcona will put the Elantra N and IONIQ 5 N through their paces, while Toyota showcases their GR Supra and more.

Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group, and Akio Toyoda, Toyota’s Chairman and occasional race driver ‘Morizo,’ will both be in attendance, underscoring the importance of this event for both companies. It’s more than just a showcase of speed; it’s a vision of the future. Hyundai’s N Vision 74 and Toyota’s hydrogen-powered GR Corolla H2 Concept will be on display, highlighting each company’s commitment to sustainable innovation without compromising on performance.

Whether you’re a Hyundai N fan or a Toyota GAZOO Racing enthusiast, this festival promises something for everyone. With more than two decades of motorsport development under Hyundai’s belt, this collaboration with Toyota is set to make motorsport history in Korea.

“We are excited to welcome the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing team, our competitors in the WRC, to Korea”, said Yeong Ho Lee, Executive Vice President, Global Operations Division. “This event will emphasize the fierce competition and friendship that coexist in motorsport and is an opportunity to demonstrate the pure passion for cars shared by both Hyundai and Toyota, as well as our commitment to further expand motorsport culture in the future.”

Both brands will come together to celebrate the spirit of competition at the Everland Speedway in Yong-in.

“We’re glad that Hyundai N and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, which are competitors in world motorsport, are working together to create an opportunity to enjoy car culture beyond motorsport”, said Manabu Konyama, CEO and President of Toyota Motor Korea. “Toyota remains committed to furthering and strengthening motorsports culture.”
