Meet the Exclusive Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+

CLS debuted in 2004, with 450,000 selling worldwide in the years since.

The 2021 model comes in a single variant, the Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+. This AMG approach seems to eb one taken with several other lower volume Mercedes models.

Mercedes-AMG styling brings a new front apron and air intakes, with two louvres at the sides, and a front splitter in high gloss black around a new AMG-specific radiator grille. 

The standard AMG Night Package, has various parts, such as exterior mirror housing, and side window surrounds in high-gloss black. Wheels are 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy.

The rear apron has a black diffuser-look with a silver-chrome trim strip, and the bootlid has an AMG spoiler lip. Finally, there is dark-tinted privacy glass from the B-pillar back.

The newest of Mercedes Benz’s MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system, uses 2 large 12.3-inch high-resolution screens side-by-side for a widescreen look,

The media section is a touchscreen. Users may also try voice control using “Hey Mercedes”, many of the more common commands such as “answer phone”, do not require the “Hey Mercedes” command.

Controls come with the latest generation of the AMG Multifunction steering wheel in Nappa leather with enlarged touch control panels, for fingertip control of both multimedia screens. 2 AMG buttons allow driving mode changes on the fly, plus quick access to a pre-selected menu of favourite actions.
