What is our favourite SUV? The luxurious of Range Rover of course. Not owning one is no barrier to a drive experience and luxury holiday.
The 3-day escape is a joint Jagur Land Rover/ Quintessentially (book here) Travel venture. Range Rover is provided by Land Rover, and the stays and eating experience is curated by the travel company.
Driving by day and staying in unique residences by night, the first class fine dining experiences are set in the foothills of the Catalan Pyrenees, La Vella Fargo is a delightfully discrete renovated country house amid meadows and pine forests.
The next stay is at the Mandarin Oriental hotel Barcelona overlooking the Passeig de Gràcia, and the famous Casa Batlló by Gaudi.
The drive experience takes in views from the mountains with 360-degree views across Catalonia. Following the glories of the roa, guests can taste the grapes at the Entrebosc winery. It sits between two forests, producting monovarietal, organic and limited-production wines.

David Griffiths, Head of Global Brand Experience, Range Rover, said: “Range Rover steps into a spotlight of its own to deliver this carefully curated travel experience. With exclusive accommodation and an unforgettable itinerary, our guests have a wealth of treasured moments awaiting them in Catalonia. Always leading by example, Range Rover innately belongs in such surroundings with luxury and comfort in every detail. Range Rover is planning more new and exciting destinations to add to its global travel series, as well as additional dates and extended programmes.”
The regular Range Rover is a joy to behold, but the Range Rover plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) is able to cruise silently for up to 120km of electric-only range. That’s just the ticket for European cities with ultra-low emissions zones.
