Will We See the sexy Lexus LBX Morizo Rr Concept in a Showroom

High-Performance Lexus LBX Morizo Rr Concept First Appearance

Lexus revealed its LBX Morizo RR Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon. If you’re growing a little tired of electric cars coming at you left and right, this is something for the petrolheads.

The LBX Morizo RR Concept has an intercooled turbo 1.6-litre three-cylinder (G16E-GTS) engine with with an impressive 224kW / 400Nm worth of sporty fun. Rather than a manual or an appalling CVT, the LBX Morizo RR Concept employs a Direct Shift 8-speed automatic, and electronically-controlled full-time all-wheel drive. The main problem for many a hot-hatch buyer is the lack of ability for many to fettle a manual. CVTs sap the fun out of a drive, and a DSG/DCT-style automatic can be a little unreliable. Some like them, and some don’t. Reglaur LBX models will be 1.5L hybrids with the afore-mentioned CVT.

The concept was inspired by master driver and Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Akio Toyoda, aka Morizo.  He wanted a Lexus on the drive, but not a fire-breathing V8 on a huge bodied coupe. LBX Morizo RR Concept gets a redone treatment for front and rear bumpers that look the part, as well as  helping air flow. Gay buyers love power, but conering also ranks highly in the must-have department. Akio Toyoda loves a sports car and this one is something that appeals to the young mobile gay.

They sit over a darkened multi-spoke 19-inch aluminium wheel with 235/45 section tyres and yellow brake calipers. Adding to the sexy look, LBX Morizo RR Concept is 10mm lower than the regular model. More yellow is seen on the upper edge of the black mesh pattern grille. The looks is finished off with which piano black door trim.

LBX Morizo RR Concept comes in dark grey Sonic Chrome to set off the yellow front moulding and brake calipers.

Inside:

Yellow seatbelts finish a look that appeals to people who want something different.

The automatic alone should be enough to see LBX Morizo RR Concept come to market, but Lexus is tight lipped about whether or not LBX Morizo RR Concept will ever see a showroom.
