The 1.2L tubro petrol has a manual and CVT option in 2 trim levels.

Both have a 6.1" tablet LCD touch screen infotainment system in the centre console, augmented by a 4.1" drivers instrument LCD between the tacho and speed dials.

The comfortable cabin suits a younger buyer who fancies something a bit different. There is enough ground clearance to aid the AWD system in a little light off-road work.

The city is where it will be used mainly, and Toyota has tried to aim this squarely at millennials. It is a shame there is no Apple Carplay/Android Auto though.

The interior space is similar to Corolla, so buyers have been given a hatch or SUV choice with similar pricing for both models.
