2025 Hyundai i30N Gets Key Design and Safety Updates


The i30 N has been made over, giving the 2025 a gentle nip and tuck as well as the appearance of new technology and enhanced safety equipment. i30N was the brand’s first go-quick N model and needed some lovin’.

The 2025 i30 N adds a DCT i30 N Premium non-sunroof-variant to the range.

The 2025 i30 N adds a DCT i30 N Premium non-sunroof-variant to the range.

Other Changes include:-

  • New matte-grey colour for 19-inch forged wheels
  • new radiator grille design wuth flat-style ‘H’
  • red trim on the side skirting
  • red front bumper inserts
  • matte black badge at the rear
  • 25“ Supervision instrument cluster
  • Redesigned suede-leather-and-Alcantara N bucket seats
  • Gloss-black gear shift surround
  • 3 USB-C charge points (one in the front and two in the rear)
  • Rain-sensing wipers
  • Electrochromic Mirror
  • Red NGS (N Grin Shift) button on steering wheel (20-seconds of maximum power and torque, loud exhaust note, and aggressive gear upshifts)
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) now detects cyclists
  • Intelligent Speed Limit Assist
  • Rear Occupant Alert
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Multi-Collision Braking
  • Hyundai Bluelink connected car services
  • Over The Air (OTA) software update

Key Bluelink features include:

  • Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)
  • Emergency Call (SOS) function
  • Connected Routing – live traffic updates
  • Alert services including geo-fencing, valet, speed & time alerts
  • Remote control of climate and vehicle functions
  • Navigation send to car
  • Voice recognition for POI lookup, vehicle controls
  • Vehicle settings management

2025 i30 N retains the 206kw/392Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine), and the choice between a six-speed manual transmission or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, sports exhaust,  sports suspension and performance brakes.

“These key updates are about improving the Hyundai i30 N formula, without changing the fundamentals,” Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Executive Officer, Ted Lee said.

“While the i30 N has always been about maximising performance and fun, these improvements focus on delivering key safety and technology updates, adding to the well-rounded nature of this accessible and exciting performance vehicle.”
