EQE is a little smaller than EQS and is one of the world’s most aerodynamic vehicles, with its slippery profile registering a drag coefficient of just 0.22 – second only to the reigning world champion, the EQS (0.20 Cd).
Mercedes used resource-saving secondary steel, considered along with the environmental impact of the entire value chain. EQE is made in the Bremen factory in Germany. Even the factory itself is environmentally aware, and has been converted to climate-neutral production. It uses renewable electricity, and the battery facility for the EQS and EQE in Hedelfingen, is CO2-neutral.
The aim is to make Mercedes-EQ CO2-neutral over the vehicles’ entire life cycle by 2039, as oart of Mercedes-Benz’s Ambition 2039 target.
To compare EQE to its ICE sister, the cabin space is more capacious than the E-Class. The cabin is longer by 80 mm, and has 27 mm extra front shoulder room.
EQE has three models: – the EQE 300, EQE 350 4MATIC, and the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+.
