Gay Car Boys readers know the good and the bad when they see it, and their cars come in for harsh words when they fail.

We were literally inundated with several emails from canny gays n lesbians who were either boasty-pants, or crying soporifically into their soup.

Readers have had a mix of the good, the bad, and the very-very bad.

ABOVE: 2023 cars – The good, the bad, and the ugly

Here are what some of you had to say:

Scott and Corey- 2021 Tesla Model 3:

“Our previous unit didn’t have a place to charge. When we moved, we got a garage of our own. It made charging easier.”

The couple have made several long road trips too, but regularly do a round trip from Brisbane to Gatton, in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. “The Tesla gets lots of updates over the air. We’re thinking about getting the 2024 model because we can now claim it as an expense.”

People upgrade cars for many reasons, but saving $200 a month is worth it, right? The gays love a badge, and nothing screams, “posh greenie” like a long range Tesla.

Ryan 2023 Hyundai i30 Sedan N:

“I did a track day in Sydney recently. The N Festival was brilliant.”

Ryan wrote about his track day HERE. He’ll have more to say over the coming weeks.

Sydney Motorsport Park is an amazing place to host a motoring festival. It is just outside Sydney with little to no residential area within hearing distance.

The track day featured the “main” 4.5KM circuit. This circuit features everything a race track should have: tight turns, long sweeping turns and most importantly for a youth, A STRAIGHT! It is one of the many reasons young boys are both hard-n-expensive to insure.”

Ryan is an N lover who continues his Nthusiasm with gay abandon.

Lynden and Landon 2023 VW Golf R

Sounding like a couple of buff bookends, the 2 L’s describe themselves “fashionably late” thanks to their MK 8 VW Golf R.

“Our Stop/Start is more Stop than Start” Landon said. “The automatic is not keen on changing gears, and the menu system we hoped to get used to, we didn’t. It handles like our old Golf R, which we had rather we kept.”

“VW have treated us like an inconvenience” they wrote. We emailed them asking for more detail but are yet to get a reply. Perhaps they’re stuck in a cell-free zone.

Lena (or Leena) 2023 Toyota Hilux

Lena (or Leena) was thrilled with her Hilux until, “the fuc&ing thing fu&king broke down on the fuc&ing freeway.” Lena (or Leena) wasn’t impressed.

She went on to say, “the *unting *unt of a thing wouldn’t *untingwell start this morning either.” Lena (or Leena) called Toyota, but alas, and I quote now, was left with, “my fuc&ing t1ts swinging in the wind.”

She has a colourful turn of phrase.
