This year marks 20 years of Nissan X-TRAIL in Australia.
Nissan thought it a good time to announce the MY22 model with more safety features, and a new ST+ trim level.
ST+ sits between the ST and the ST-L grades, and offers an increased active safety package.
ST+ comes in two- or four-wheel drive, and some of the new features are: an Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and Satellite Navigation.
ST-L and TI grades, add front parking sensors for the first time.
An 2021 upgrade brought Nissan’s next-generation infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay1 and Android Auto1, displayed through a new 7.0-inch touchscreen with updated graphics.
Nissan X-TRAIL – MY22 – engines and transmissions

The 4WD X-TRAIL uses Nissan’s Intelligent 4×4 system which has three settings: 2WD mode, AUTO mode and LOCK mode.
All models have Hill Start Assist (HSA), with AWD cars having Hill Descent Control (HDC).
