DEEPAL Australia is adding to the 2025 range, bringing two new models to its growing electric vehicle (EV) stable. Say hello to the DEEPAL S05, a compact SUV designed for city dwellers, and the DEEPAL E07, DEEPAL’s version of a Cybertruck, and probably as polarising..
The E07 – Is It an SUV? A Ute? Both?
Designed for those who want a vehicle that does it all—school runs, Bunnings hauls, off-road escapades—the DEEPAL E07 is positioning itself as the Swiss Army knife of EVs. Combining the comfort and tech of a luxury SUV with the practicality of a Ute, the E07 is shaping up to be something we haven’t quite seen before, unless you look at tesla and its awkward Cybertruck. DEEPAL is keeping specs under wraps for now, but the promise is for something fresh and new.
DEEPAL describes the E07 as a revolutionary blend of form and function, built for both urban and rugged terrain. Whether you’re ferrying kids to school, heading off-grid for a weekend adventure, or simply making a trip to IKEA, the E07 is meant to do the lot.
At the launch event of DEEPAL S07, both models were on display for evaluation and while the S05 looked kind of cute, the E07 needed more looking in to.

The S05 – The S07’s Stylish Younger Sibling
If the S07 was a little too much car for you (one way or another), the DEEPAL S05 is here to slot in as the brand’s smaller, more affordable alternative. DEEPAL claims it retains all the innovation and personality of its bigger sibling while delivering a more compact, city-friendly package. With a sleek design, cutting-edge tech, and a driving experience tailored for urban living, the S05 could be an exciting entry point for those new to EVs.
Get Behind the Wheel at Everything Electric AUSTRALIA
If you’re eager to see what these EV newcomers are all about, Everything Electric AUSTRALIA at Sydney Olympic Park (7th-9th March 2025) is your golden ticket. Test drives of the E07 will be available, giving Aussies their first hands-on experience with this electric SUV-Ute hybrid. The S05 will also be on display, offering a glimpse into DEEPAL’s expanding line-up.
General Manager of DEEPAL Australia, Cormac Cafolla, describes the E07 as an “automotive multi-tool” designed for everything from mountain trails to grocery runs. Meanwhile, the S05 is all about making EV ownership more accessible without skimping on innovation, performance, or style.
Full specifications, powertrains, and pricing for both models will be revealed later this year. Until then, DEEPAL is setting the stage for what could be a thrilling year for EV enthusiasts Down Under.
