Paolo Dellachà has been promoted from Chief Product and Engineering Officer, to CEO, at Automobili Pininfarina,

Automobili Pininfarina’s parent company, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, made the announcement Recently following the retirement or sees Per Svantesson. The former CEO oversaw the launch of its first luxury hypercarcar, the Battista pure-electric GT. The Battista is the most powerfull Italian sports car ever, and began production in began mid 2022.

Dellachà has a long engineering pedigree with Ferrari and Maserati. After the stints at some of the most desirable brands in the world, he joined Automobili Pininfarina in 2018 to launch the new Italian carmaker.

New Automobili Pininfarina CEO Paolo Dellachà said: “I am very grateful for the opportunity to lead Automobili Pininfarina into its next phase of evolution. As a proud Italian, the legacy of Pininfarina is always an inspiration to me. The Battista was named in honour of the founder of this revered brand and it has been my privilege to oversee a highly-talented technical team throughout its successful development.

As Chief Product and Engineering Officer, Paolo oversaw the development and manufacture of the Battista pure electric hyper GT in Cambiano, Italy. He is been instrumental in the company’s push to introduce a range of luxury electric cars.
