Of all the stories we’ve run about Polestar, the Swedish carmaker’s Polestar electric roadster concept was one we really got excited about. Few electric roadsters have been made, and even few have been proposed.

If Polestar sounds like a new brand, it is, but not as new as you think. Polestar was once the performance arm of Volvo, but was spun off in its own right. It continues to share platforms and components but the Polestar electric roadster concept looks like being unique.

A series of events in Australia will see the arrival and touring of the Polestar electric roadster concept from November 14. Polestar electric roadster concept displays a firm vision of Polestar’s  future sports cars as well as where the brand’s design, technology and sustainability ambitions are headed.

The concept debuted in LA in March, and has matured into a production car, Polestar 6. Polestar electric roadster concept will feature as the centre piece of the “Polestar Talks” series. the sustainability-led panel discussion events will be in Melbourne and Brisbane this month, with the Polestar electric roadster concept also making an appearance in Sydney.

The events cover sustainability, with key industry leaders from across the sustainability discussing  rapid need for change through design, innovation, and better business practices.

“The Polestar Talks events will give attendees the opportunity to hear about the incredible work some of the brightest minds in the sustainability space are doing, and their perspective on the biggest challenges we are facing in Australia,” says Samantha Johnson, Head of Polestar Australia.

“Polestar electric roadster concept perfectly captures the spirit of that mission, showcasing our rapid transition toward producing a truly climate-neutral car, while demonstrating that, when it comes to sports cars, the premium choice, the fun choice, and the sustainable choice can be one and the same.”

Polestar electric roadster concept will be on public display for three days in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Polestar 0 Project is Polestar’s commitment to build a truly climate neutral vehicle without offsetting by 2030.

Polestar 6 will go into production in 2026.
