Polestar Sales Soar as Jaecoo Rides with Supercross Star Dylan Wills

Polestar’s record-breaking EV sales and Jaecoo’s bold Supercross partnership mark a powerful week in Australian automotive news, showcasing two brands accelerating in very different directions but with equally strong momentum. As Polestar strengthens its position in the booming electric vehicle market with double-digit global growth, Jaecoo is charging onto the lifestyle and performance scene by partnering with one of Australia’s top Supercross riders, Dylan Wills. Both moves underline the evolving mix of sustainability, performance, and adventure shaping the next generation of car buyers.

Polestar’s global retail sales hit 14,192 cars in Q3 2025, up 13% on last year. Over the first nine months, the Swedish EV brand shifted 44,482 vehicles, a robust 36% year-on-year increase — already matching its total 2024 sales. CEO Michael Lohscheller said the brand’s results show “continued growth despite challenging market conditions,” while Polestar Australia boss Scott Maynard confirmed local sales are up 40.5%, driven by a broader range, expanded retail footprint, and a more proactive sales strategy.

Down in the dirt, Jaecoo Australia  is embracing its wild side with the appointment of Dylan Wills as brand ambassador. The Cronulla-born SX1 Supercross rider, ranked among the nation’s best, brings his fearless energy and authentic love for the outdoors to Jaecoo’s “For the Wild Life” mantra — a perfect blend of capability, confidence, and charisma.

“Partnering with Jaecoo feels like a natural fit,” Wills said. “I’ve spent my life chasing challenges outdoors, and Jaecoo’s blend of adventure and style fits perfectly with that.”

Jaecoo also returns as a major partner of the 2025 Boost Mobile Australian Supercross Championship, ensuring fans will see its rugged, premium SUVs on the ground, on screen, and everywhere in between. Together, Polestar’s electric precision and Jaecoo’s off-road flair prove that Australia’s automotive future is both powerful and diverse — whether you prefer the open road or the dirt track.
