Subaru Outback Gets 5-Stars: All Subarus Are Now 5-Star

Subaru’s latest Outback got a 5-star safety rating from Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP). Outback won a total 89 points, meaning received the highest the highest score in the larger Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) classification.

Subaru Outback has a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, meaning the brand has 5-Stars across the entire current range.

Some of the top techs include:

First Subaru specifically designed to withstand collision impacts under new Mobile Progressive Deformable Barrier (MPDB) testing
First Subaru to include front passenger seat cushion airbag – Outback now has eight airbags

Increased front frame resistance, for better energy absorption efficiency.
The chassis framework is strengthened, and body deformation reduced, improving safety during side collisions.
