New entry: Meet the Mitsubishi ASX GS
The new ASX GS plays a vital role for Mitsubishi as a fresh entry point into the brand.
In five-speed manual or CVT transmissions, ASX GS comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder and FWD. The 110kW/197Nm engine gets 7.6L/100km with the CVT form and the manual manual, 7.7L/100km.

There is New audio for ASX MR and LS grades
Both the ASX MR and LS trims gain six-speaker audio system, Black finish 18-inch alloy wheels, black exterior door mirrors and grille, and Smart key with one touch start
ASX LS also retains additional standard equipment over the ES grade, including:
- Black roof rails
- Illuminated vanity mirrors
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift
- Privacy glass; rear, rear door and quarter windows
Safety additions include:
- Blind Spot Warning
- Lane Change Assist
- Lane Departure Warning
- Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
GSR
Featuring a larger 2.4-litre petrol engine generating 123kW and 222Nm, the sporty GSR is solely available with the CVT and exclusively features paddle shift. This drivetrain provides smooth response and brisk acceleration, while consuming only 7.9L/100km (ADR 81/02). CO2 is rated at 186g/km CO2.
ASX GSR also gains the following over the LS grade:
- 18-inch Black finish alloy wheels
- Aluminium brake pedals
- Black exterior door mirrors, radiator grille and rear spoiler
- Microsuede/synthetic leather seat trim with red stitching
EXCEED
Continuing in its flagship role is the ASX EXCEED. Also powered by the larger 2.4-litre petrol engine, the ASX EXCEED brings further sophistication as part of its standard specification, including:
- 18-inch two tone alloy wheels
- Black leather-appointed seat trim
- Dark Argent metallic radiator grille
- Four-way powered driver’s seat
- Front seat heating
- Headlamp auto-levelling
- Panoramic roof
- ROCKFORD FOSGATE premium audio system with nine speakers and subwoofer
