Zeekr, the premium EV brand under Geely, is charging ahead with its latest high-tech driving solution, Zeekr G-Pilot. Packed with AI, big data, and cutting-edge silicon, the system aims to redefine intelligent driving with a focus on safety and seamless automation.

One of the headline features is the General Automated Evasion System (G-AES), which takes collision avoidance to the next level. Unlike traditional emergency braking systems, G-AES enables Zeekr vehicles to execute evasive manoeuvres at high speeds (80-130km/h), responding dynamically to unpredictable obstacles. This is made possible through AI-driven learning, meaning the system continuously improves over time. With the ability to recognise irregular hazards that static algorithms might miss, Zeekr is pushing towards a more proactive, intelligent safety approach.

Another standout is the Full-Capacity Vehicle-to-Parking (V2P) function, which promises stress-free parking. With AI Smart Parking Roaming, Zeekr vehicles can autonomously scout for available parking spaces and park themselves—no more endless circling for a spot. This system is further enhanced by Zeekr’s map-free urban NZP function, allowing for intelligent navigation in urban settings without the need for high-definition maps.

The upcoming Zeekr 9X, a luxury flagship SUV set to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, will be the first model equipped with L3-ready autonomous capabilities. Featuring a dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor processor, the 9X boasts a staggering computing power of 1,400 TOPS, making it one of the most advanced autonomous systems on the market. Built on Zeekr’s next-gen ZEEA 3.0 architecture, the 9X is designed to handle complex driving scenarios with minimal driver intervention.

Zeekr plans to roll out over-the-air (OTA) updates in the coming months, bringing G-AES and V2P functionality to existing models. While the brand’s ambition is clear, real-world performance will be the ultimate test. With AI at the helm, Zeekr is betting on a future where cars not only drive themselves but get smarter with every kilometre. The race towards full autonomy is heating up, and Zeekr wants to be leading the charge.
