Golf MK 8 R and Tiguan R continue the German giant’s hot hatch history.

Golf R comes with more power (235kw/400Nm) with a 0-100 of 4.8seconds, aided by its wet clutch 7-sp DSG, and 4Motion AWD.

The $65,990 RRP includes all the usual driver and safety aids with the only options being a sunroof at $1900 and Harmon Kardon sound at $1000.

Tiguan now comes in an R version with the drivetrain from Golf R, and a 0-100 of 5.1 seconds. It comes with a $68,990 RRP, a sunroof at$2000, and Harmon Kardon at $1000 as the only options.

You can get it in the Lapis Blue that R’s are known for, with Pure White, Metallic Reflex Silver, Dolphin Grey, and Deep Pearl Black rounding out the colour palette. All colour choices comes as no-cost selections.
