KIA RIO was launched in 2017, and got a quick update in late 2018. Some the Sport model replaced the old mid range offerings, and an updated equipment list was offered. This brought loads of tasty goodies such as active lane control and monitoring, and AEB. Most importantly, the GT Line and it’s 1.0L engine came in to being. https://youtu.be/MxekjNKA5Dg [...]

2018 Kia Stinger 4-Cylinder Review

By |2019-06-29T19:33:44+10:00June 25th, 2018|4 Cylinder, AAA, Car Reviews by Brand, KIA Reviews|0 Comments

There's a lot to like about the Kia Stinger, but how does the four-cylinder version compare to the V6? That's a question that is pretty easy to answer - it really doesn't. The two versions of Kia's new (and first) large sedan are like chalk and cheese when it comes to the driving experience. Interestingly, I actually came away [...]

2018 Kia Sorento GT-Line Diesel Review

By |2019-07-24T15:57:38+10:00May 10th, 2018|AAA, Car Reviews by Brand, Gay cars fit for a queen?, KIA Reviews|0 Comments

When you drill right down, Kia’s Sorento is arguably THE best value SUV on the market right now, especially the top of the range, diesel only, GT-Line model driven at $58,990. Compare it with anything you like at up to twice the price from Germany, the US or Japan  and the Kia comes out trumps on most scores. More [...]

2018 Kia Cerato S Review

By |2019-06-30T00:25:04+10:00March 21st, 2018|AAA, Car Reviews by Brand, Car Type Search, Gay cars fit for a queen?, KIA Reviews|0 Comments

I’d have thought Kia’s Sportage or Rio would be its top seller here but no, it’s the Cerato small car in sedan and hatch that tops the sales charts. It’s because Cerato offers great value for money especially the test drive entry level S model with six speed auto selling for an incredible $19,990 drive away. Add the optional [...]

2018 Kia Stinger GT Review

The Kia Stinger is epitome of what the South Korean brand is capable of producing right now. What an amazing car; full of power, style, comfort and luxury, it’s a complete package for a grand tourer sedan. I was already impressed by the smaller engine version of the Stinger I test drove last year and now the Stinger GT [...]

2018 Kia Picanto S Review

By |2019-06-30T00:32:37+10:00March 14th, 2018|Car Reviews by Brand, Car Type Search, Gay cars fit for a queen?, Hatchback, KIA Reviews|0 Comments

Kia dropped a toe in the water with second generation Picanto a couple of years ago and it sold in enough numbers to convince Kia to go ahead with gen III. It’s an interesting, cheap to run,  tiddler-size, five-door hatch with a mix of old and new technology and a smattering of advanced driver assist technology. Looks good though, [...]

Kia launched the all new Sportage early in 2016 with a fresh design in a market that is becoming increasingly popular with consumers, competitive from manufacturers and homogenised by designers. The all new fourth generation model is more a continuation of evolution but a large step taken. Exterior The 2018 Kia Sportage GT-Line has a muscular bold design. With wider [...]

Kia Australia has an updated version of its much awarded Sorento large SUV available now in dealerships nationwide. A consistently popular model, Kia is hoping the 2018 upgrade puts the Sorento seven-seat SUV on even more family shopping lists, and after sampling the vehicle this week I am sure that will the case. https://youtu.be/G91P_t1-wrc Exterior Changes to the outside [...]
