Ford Australia has partnered with Evie Networks, a large electric vehicle (EV) charging provider, to offer charging solutions for Australian EV owners. The collaboration aims to provide easy and reliable charging options when at home or on the move.
The EV Charging Package, available for order from Evie Networks online and through authorised Ford EV Dealers, includes a Teltonika Teltocharge 7.4kW single-phase wallbox, a 5-meter tethered cable with Type 2 connector, and a smartphone app for charge scheduling, monitoring, and control. This package is priced at $2,580, covering the hardware, standard installation, and $400 worth of free charging at Evie Network’s 230+ public fast charging locations nationwide.
New and existing Ford customers, such as Mustang Mach E drivers, can opt for this package. The package leverages Evie Networks’ expertise in EV charging to provide a convenient solution for both home and journey charging. Additional features like a 22kW upgrade for three-phase power supply and solar integration are available for $300 each.

With Ford’s partnership with Evie Networks, charging at home and on the go becomes hassle-free, ensuring EV owners leave home each day with a fully charged battery by simply plugging in overnight.
Myles Hartley, General Manager of Electric Vehicles at Ford Australia, emphasizes the simplicity and convenience of home charging, likening it to charging a smartphone. He highlights the stress-free installation process and a $400 public charging credit on Evie Network’s national network, handy for interstate travel.
The $400 public charging credit can be used during the interim period between purchasing and final installation, valid for 12 months from purchase. The at-home charging unit comes with a three-year hardware warranty and a two-year installation warranty, compatible with Ford’s existing electrified models and future vehicles.
Ford Australia encourages a strong uptake of smart home charging solutions, supported by an expansive and reliable public charging network like Evie Networks. The partnership aims to accelerate EV adoption in Australia, with Evie CEO Chris Mills stressing the importance of operational reliability and renewable energy sources in the charging network.
Ford plans to expand its network of Authorized EV Dealers to over 100 locations by the end of 2024, providing extensive support for EV owners with charging infrastructure, specialist EV workshop equipment, and maintenance knowledge.
