Defender 90 is the stupidly cute 3-door version of the 4-door Defender 110. Just as the 1950’s great grandfather Defender looked fabulous in the short wheelbase, so does the 21st century reimagining of the cosy country classic.
Tucson comes in 3 trims, Tucson, Tucson Elite, and Tucson Highlander, each with a $1,000 N-Line option. Highlander pricing is $50,298 Drive away, and $51,298 for the N Line pack, but the range starts from a measly $38,345. That’s an awful lot of car for under 40 grand.
That brings us to the majestic and imperious 2021 Jaguar E-Pace R-Dynamic P250 S AWD. It is as pretty as a gym-fit twink in speedos, and as handy as a fully-pouched tradie with boots and a flamnnie.

Like the Kray twins, Jaguar XE many moods and personalities, from suited gent in a bowler, to knuckle-dustered thug in a vest. That’s all down to superb engineering that keeps all the oily stuff tucked out of the way until it’s needed.
