Genesis Electrified GV70 Arrives in September.

Electrified GV70 sits above the GV70 3.5T AWD SPORT with Luxury Pack, providing the benefits of the Hyundai IONIQ5 with the luxurious appointments of the ever-expanding Genesis brand

Electrified GV70’s dual motors give 360kW (with Boost Mode) / 700Nm of torque, for a 0-100km/h of 4.2-seconds.

Like IONIQ5, GV70 Electrified has a 77.4kWh power battery with 445km (WLTP) range. It is one of the very few EVs on the market able to charge charge from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes when on a 350kW DC fast charger.

Unlike the other Genesis models, Electrified GV70 comes with ‘Luxury Package’ included, instead of being an option.

Genesis will have 3 electric models by year’s end: GV60, Electrified G80 and Electrified GV70, all arriving in September.

Connal Yan, Head of Genesis Motors Australia, said that alternative powertrains are at the core of the Genesis product development strategy, with the goal of offering eco-friendly mobility solutions in every segment of the portfolio.

“We are immensely excited to introduce three new all-electric models this year, as the first realisation of our vision of creating a sustainable mobility future with electrification front and centre,” Mr. Yan said.

“The arrival of the progressive Electrified GV70, along with the dedicated electric GV60 and Electrified G80, will represent an audacious stride into that future,” he said.

Electrified GV70 will be offered in one highly equipped ’Luxury Package’ specification level, fittingly positioned as the flagship model in the GV70 range.
