Polestar, the Swedish electric performance sister brand to Volvo, is set to expand its retail presence in Australia with a new flagship Space in Sydney, coinciding with the arrival of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 electric performance SUVs to join Polestar 2.
Opening in September, the elegant new Polestar Space will be located in Artarmon on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, a prime area known for its posh residential and commercial significance. This location will be Polestar’s second flagship retail concept in Australia, following the Chadstone Space in Melbourne, which opened in 2022. Situated on the prominent Pacific Highway, the Artarmon Space will serve the growing business districts of St Leonards and Chatswood, along with the entire North Shore of Sydney.

Scott Maynard, Head of Polestar Australia, expressed his excitement about the brand’s expansion. “The second half of 2024 is shaping up as an incredibly exciting time for Polestar in Australia,” he said. He highlighted the significance of the brand’s growth from offering a single model to a lineup of three vehicles: the Polestar 2 fastback, the new Polestar 3 SUV, and the Polestar 4 SUV Coupé. The opening of the Sydney Space, he added, marks a significant step in Polestar’s growth trajectory and positions the brand for further expansion in 2024 and beyond.
The design of the new Sydney Space adheres to the minimalist and customer-focused ethos of other Polestar Spaces worldwide. It aims to provide visitors with an immersive and informative experience, reflecting Polestar’s commitment to its brand values. The Space is designed to be a calming environment where visitors can learn about Polestar’s vehicles, with knowledgeable Polestar specialists available to assist with any inquiries.
Visitors to the Sydney Space will have the opportunity to test drive the Polestar 2 Fastback, the Polestar 3 performance SUV, and later in the year, the Polestar 4 Coupé. The facility includes a new vehicle preparation centre on the first floor and offers basement parking for visitors, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Additionally, Polestar Australia will relocate its Head Office from North Ryde to the second floor of the new Sydney facility, further cementing the brand’s presence in the region.
The introduction of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 in 2024 marks the brand’s expansion into the SUV market, underscoring Polestar’s dedication to innovative performance and sustainable mobility. This expansion reflects Polestar’s ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge electric vehicles and supporting the shift towards more environmentally friendly transportation options.
