The latest VFacts car sales report shows a slump in the car market which is down 6.4% on this time last year. Around 37 brands are sold in Australia

The luxury car market is a mix of winners and losers, keeping in mind the world-wide shortages of parts as the semiconductor supply wreaks havoc. Audi is having a tougher time, moving 4,690 units compared to 7,405 this time last year. That’s a drop of 36%.

BMW is down 13% with 9,566 sales, Landrover saw a 25.8% slump, LEXUS is down 24.5%, Mercedes Benz is also down 17.7%. Mercedes Vans is down 10.5% and trucks division down 35.4%.
