Even 20 years ago, no one would have been able to foretell a day when the brand would end production of its internal combustion sports car. As we walk down memory lane past the 2024 F-TYPE ZP Edition, we think of the delicious XJ-S, drop-dead gorgeous E-Type, and the XKs from all eras. When we come to the racing cars that arguable made Jaguar famous, most of us would find it hard to hold back a tear thinking of the C-Type and D-Type, which are never to be repeated.

Somehow the EV versions of go-quick Jags just won’t have the same gravitas. The 2024 F-TYPE ZP Edition, inspired by two iconic 1960s racing E-types, is limited to 150 units, and that, ladies and gents, will be that.

The F-TYPE ZP Edition has a 423kW supercharged petrol V8 F-TYPEs and a cabin fitted out by SV Bespoke.

Two F-TYPE ZP Edition colourways are available, evoking memories of the race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-types in 1961: Oulton Blue Gloss paint with Mars Red, or Crystal Grey Gloss paint with Navy Blue, both has an Ebony duotone leather interior. F-TYPE ZP Edition are adorned with Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and Porcelain White Gloss grille surrounds.

The leather seats have horizontal seat fluting, and there is Gloss Black exterior accenting along with Gloss Black brake calipers. F-TYPE ZP Edition details on the fenders, join other exclusive features like the Gloss Black Diamond Turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, tread plates and dashboard. Each car features a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke commissioning plaque.

The V8 F-Type exhaust note is so iconic, that it has been archived in institutions including the British Library.

The F-TYPE ZP Edition comes as a Coupé with 423kW/700Nm supercharged V8, all-wheel drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology, and 0-100 km/h of a claimed 3.7 seconds, on to a top speed electronically limited to 300 km/h. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS AT JAGUAR
